My wife and I were there to have a men's necklace that she had bought for me last Christmas repaired. It was a simple break at the main connection, which was not made to be very strong to begin with. It seemed almost as if this weak connector was intentionally made this way so that a break would be likely, which would then require us to return the necklace back to the store for repair in order that Zales could submit an additional charge. We were unable to locate our warranty, and were told that it would take up to 3 weeks to have the necklace repaired, and only then would we know what the actual charge would be. I told the attendant that I would be away in 2 weeks time and so was unable to wait the 3 weeks, at which point the attendant said that an additional 35 dollars would be incurred if the repair needed to be expedited. I told the attendant that I did not need this kind of aggravation over what appeared to be a very simple repair, and that from now on we would shop at Jared's instead. The attendant made no attempt to satisfy my obvious discontent with their lack of interest towards helping me, which I believe speaks volumes with regards to Zales approach to overall customer service, or lack thereof. As a result, I felt compelled to write this review to express my dissatisfaction with Zales service. Alan Bako Celebration, FL
