In November of 2014, my brother Marc was diagnosed with Stage IV brain and lung cancer, which originated from colon cancer back in 2008. With little choice, Marc underwent full brain radiation and had to endure the devastating side effects of this treatment. Initially, hope was diminishing, due to the type of cancer and the symptoms involved. In the meantime, we began looking for alternative options and came across Whole Family Healthcare, in Winter Park. Thanks to Zena Andrews, our first point of contact, we were able to get Marc into treatments and began going at least 3 times a week. Zena is nothing short of amazing. For over 2 months now, Marc has been getting a combination of IVs, supplements and Acupuncture. I am amazed at how well he is doing. His quality of life has increased; he looks better, feels better, has more energy and has hope, where hope was diminishing rapidly. Dr Mueller is competent, knowledgeable, caring, understanding and has a great sense of humor. You will not easily find the type of treatments he offers and provides, when it comes to cancer and other health issues. Doctor D' Antonio is another incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate gentleman, who has truly helped Marc increase his quality of life by custom tailoring a supplement plan to address specific issues based on Marc's specific needs. Thanks to Amy, Marc's acupuncturist, for helping him in ways that are hard to describe. A big part of any health challenge is the emotional burden that can affect physical health. Amy has helped Marc big time in this area, on top of the positive effects of Acupuncture. Overall, Whole Family Healthcare has the "Whole" Package. The entire staff is amazing.
